Vocational Training Program

Foodservice Operational Styles training program is comprehensive, hands-on approach providing students with techniques and methods for expanding their knowledge and skills of the Food Service Industry.

 

In addition to food preparation and serving skills, students also receive training in sanitation, kitchen communication, knife skills, weights and measures, and use of equipment.  The program prepares trainees for employment in a number of settings including hospitals, hotels, schools and restaurants.

 

Our training curriculum is based on the latest Federal & State Food Industry Standards, and is a thematic unit of instruction that offers hands-on, vocational studies and preparation for further education or entry level employment in the food and hospitality industries.

 

The workshops curriculum is to ensure that participants will be in compliance with industry regulations, and that they meet certain food and beverage standard practices.

5. Retail Food Production & Customer Service Training

6. Mobil Food Production & Vending

The Industrial & Apparel Sewing classes will teach how to construct and/or assemble clothing and household textiles such as bedding and curtains and other commercial products. Trainees will also gain these extended skills and have them as an addition to their skill level to help increase their starting pay. The topics of the training offered are:

2. Alterations & Repairs

3. Pattern Making

4. Intermediate Apparel  & Home Furnishing Construction

5. Specialty Fabrics

6. Serger-The Basics and More
